Well, it's burning... kind'a.

The blue ribbon in the upper right is to show wind direction. 
Unfortunately, that's mostly leaves burning.  The leatherleaf, our main target, isn't really catching.
This sedgy area, however, is going quite nicely.  The dark section is where it burned.  This is where we find three different orchids.  We only did a test section of it though, until we can be assured it will have no detrimental effect on the plants.  That's Richard Albrecht in the background with his fire-putting-out broom.

The bog is under water now.  We look forward to trying this again in the spring.
